Green School Oakura
Sustainability Built in education
This project involved the construction of three new classrooms for Green School New Zealand. Ensuring environmental considerations were met, the construction process set a high standard for waste reduction and recycling. Each classroom featured curved glulam beams and multifaceted ply giving it the curved dome shape.
The work we did
It was Coastline’s job to insulate the walls, ceilings and underfloor of the three classrooms. Coastline was one of the first installers of Actis Hybrid Multifoil Insulation and Hybris Insulation in New Zealand. Clelands Construction was able to utilize a Coastline insulator team of four to ensure they met their tight timeframe and could continue forward with this project.
