At Coastline, we truly believe that by creating a positive workplace culture we are able to harness a productive, engaged, energetic and high performing environment that not only allows our people to grow and develop, but also deliver a superior outcome and result for our clients.
We know that our people are our most important and valuable asset, and we endeavour to treat them as such. Not only are all our people trained on the technical aspects of their roles, and what Coastlines minimum standards and expectations in this regards are , but they are also fully involved in the development of THEIR workplace culture.
We will take responsibility for our actions and unselfishly do the right thing. We keep our word.
Display a positive and productive work ethic and be proactive with communication. We will do what we say we are going to do.
Be open minded and adaptable – There may be a better way. Seek knowledge and support your teammates.
Take pride in our work and put in an honest day’s work. We take ownership of our performance.
Wear a smile not a frown and be enthusiastic about the day. Find solutions, not problems.
Maintain a high level of personal presentation and commit to doing a high quality job. Be attentive, responsive and proactive.
Our Workplace Culture is built upon Coastline’s core values and guiding principals. Each team member is taught what their obligations are to their colleagues in regards to ‘Above the Line” behaviour and how this applies to their day to day activities.
Our people are involved in regular trainings and workshops to continually develop and nurture the team culture based on our Core Values. It is important for everyone to understand and be engaged in a positive and high performing environment that has been created this far.
Our clients often comment on the team work, and respect shown by our staff onsite to not only the other variety of people they work with, but also the buildings and environments they are working in each day. Our clients understand that an engaged and happy workforce is a productive one, and this transposed to a very measurable deliverable and result for them.
Coastline are committed to rewarding those who work hard and are prepared to learn and develop their skills set. There is a real career path within the business for those that want it. Kale Mullin, who is now our Senior Project Manager, and Quantity Surveyor start his career with the business as an onsite labourer. At Coastline anything is possible, and we encourage those with energy and ambition to create a career they desire with us.
